November 30, 2009 4:23pm – Accra Ghana
After a little over a half week I am back in Accra Ghana, My plane leaves tonight to take me . . . onward.

On Thursday and Friday of this last week, we pulled out all the stops and had a large evagelism meetings outside the church in Lome Togo. There were probably close to three hundred people all told who at least stopped by while the movie was playing. I’m not really sure what was said or done at these meetings, but more and more I am surprised in a good way by both Pastor Kossi and Gideon. I’m certain the Word was preached and the Lord will accomplish what he will.
Pastor Gideon made it back from his program and joined us Firday night. Pastor Michael and Eric from the Lagos area as well as Martin Essien made it in time for the Friday night program as well. They stayed through the services on Sunday and were very glad of the opportunity to see and meet these other brethren of theirs. Pastor Michael was especially keen on continuing to visit the members as well as having these members from Togo come to visit him in Lagos. To that end they discussed plans to make annual trips one way or another so that these four churches might meet together regularly, the four churches being, the two in Lagos Nigeria, the one here in Togo and Gideon’s church in Accra Ghana.

conference including one lady who taught at the women’s meeting and also teaches Sunday School. Big surprise we spent most of the time speaking about baptism. However, they told me that they all believed as we do with regard to baptism, but the Charismatics are on the TV and radio, constantly going after infant baptism and many of their friends as well are telling them things that confuse them. So they were very appreciative of the answers and explanations that I gave them. Also they told me all these things Kossi has also talked to them about but they were very encouraged to hear it from someone else too, to see that it wasn’t just Kossi. They were very anxious that I should return and spend a much greater time teaching. As the Lord wills . . .
Quickly I will also mention that Alfred Essien needs to come to the US sometime within the next year, I encouraged him to come next summer for the big celebration.
