Sunday, November 8, 2009 This incident I am about to relate, might seem to some proof of how unsafe it is for us in Africa. In reality the story shows just the opposite, because it makes very evident that the Lord is present and able to deliver whom he will from the very mouth of

(This is one post I wrote yesterday, but I do not have it with me at the moment and will have to post it later) Friday, November 6th I finally made it to Efa (where our seminary is) to find Pastor E. E. Essien, telling me that they had planned a conference for the 3rd,

Ooh what a night . . .

And not the late September type, either. The day started routinely enough. At least routinely enough for a group of American’s in a fairly good hotel in the midst of a relatively normal sized (1,000,000 pop) city in India. We went out to the orphanage where I was teaching on the journeys of Paul, (I

1 Timothy 2:1-6 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight
Observations of Visitations: Those who Remain
Saturday, June 20th 2009
One of the lesser but nevertheless important blessings of visiting the pastors in the BELC personally has been that Dave and I have been able to update our records and check the reports given, sometimes a year or two ago, against the reality of the situations in the different districts. The district chairmen are only

John 7:37-38 37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” Philippians 3:8 8 Yet indeed
